Our Ultimate Luxury India Tour invites you to experience the life of a Maharaja and his Maharani by staying in some of the world’s very finest hotels, whilst soaking up all the rich culture and splendid architecture of India’s most colourful state; Rajasthan. Your luxury India tour kicks off in Delhi, where you’ll be exploring the contrasts of both Old and New whilst staying at the characterful Imperial, a colonial gem built in the 1930s by the British Raj in India. Continue onward to Agra to marvel at the world’s favourite monument to love, the Taj Mahal, whilst enjoying an undisturbed view of it from your own private balcony at the Oberoi Amarvilas. Spot tigers in the wild on a private Jeep safari whilst staying in a luxury tent at the Oberoi Vanyavilas in Ranthambhore. Next, you’ll head to the Pink City of Jaipur. With the luxurious Oberoi Rajvilas as your base, you’ll find yourself exploring a fascinating whirlwind of ancient forts, splendid palaces, snooty camels, vibrant saris and swirling moustaches. Board a short flight to Udaipur and spend two nights at the fairy-tale like Taj Lake Palace; an impossibly romantic experience, and a highlight of any luxury India tour. Next, you’ll head to the blue city of Jodhpur, where you’ll stay at boutique hotel Raas haveli for stylish lodgings and an unforgettable view of the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Your journey ends in the heart of the Thar Desert, staying amongst the dunes in a luxury tent with its own private plunge pool. This fabulous luxury India tour has been carefully put together by our experienced team to reflect the hotels, routes and experiences that are much-loved by our guests, though with all our tours being tailor-made this is merely a suggestion designed to give you an idea of what’s possible. Every detail of your luxury India tour will be designed around your individual requirements.
Optionally, rather than retrace your steps back to Delhi, you may prefer to end your luxury India tour in Mumbai with a two night stay at the famed Taj Mahal Palace, The Oberoi Mumbai, or The Leela Mumbai. The possibilities don’t end there: those with a keen interest in colonial history may like to extend their journey with a stay at the Oberoi Grand in Kolkata, or take in the fabulous Himalayan foothills at the Oberoi Wildflower Hall in Shimla (here we have a fabulous Shimla extension itinerary). Alternatively, end with a few days on the beach in Goa, staying in a boutique hotel by the sea. If your schedule doesn’t allow for the full 17 nights, the third night in Jaipur and/or Jaisalmer can be comfortably removed, as well as the second night in Agra. All our tours are private and tailor-made to complement your tastes and interests – the luxury India tour described above is really just a starting point and together we can refine it into your ideal Indian getaway.
We're open Monday to Friday 10:00 - 18:00. India is 5.5+ UTC.
